The last few weeks may have seemed as if a lot wasn't getting done on the job site...but it was. There are so many small details that have to be taken care of with a project like this. Over the last few weeks sprinkler systems installed, stone work on the altar, desks in the media room and sound booth, monitors installed in various locations, trim work, stage lighting installed, thousands of feet of audio and visual cables ran, floors prepped for carpet (Just to name a few). We can't wait for everyone to see the final product on September 15th. 

Big things are happening around here everyday. The new HVAC units have arrived and are in place on the roof. We can’t wait to power them up and have some church!

Thanks to the help from several of the guys in the church, our new LED wall is installed and functional. We can't wait to see what it looks like on our first service. 

The builders added a beautiful piece to the exterior of the new build this week. At the cross, at the cross, where I first saw the light and the burden of my heart rolled away. It was there by faith, I received my sight and now I am happy all the day.

As of today the two holes have been cut in the walls that will become the two new entrances into our sanctuary. As you can see, it's going to start being a little messy when you come in our current sanctuary. Also, a giant chunk of the balcony has been cut away to make the access for hallway around the new build. We are super excited to see the progress. Please excuse our mess, but we are #WorkingOnABuilding 

This week has been a busy week around the job site for our new sanctuary. Most of the exterior stonework is now complete, which looks beautiful and is evident the moment you enter the property. However, on the inside there is a lot happening that you may never notice. Insulation has gone up in the new prayer room and media rooms. A small detail, but an important step on our way to project completion. The fire exit staircase has also been built and installed. We are loving seeing all the progress. #WorkingOnABuilding

As we drove up to the church today, we noticed some exciting new stuff. The exterior stonework has begun. No longer is there green foam insulation, but now there are some beautiful new stone columns which tie in great to the existing building. A bridge between the old and the new, we love it. #WorkingOnABuilding 

Our new baptismal tank is in place and ready to be plumbed and filled. As Pastor Todd said a few days ago at our Easter service, "It's going to be worth it all when we see the first person pray through in the altars and go down in the name of Jesus".

"And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord." Acts 22:16

The stones were delivered today for the outside of the new sanctuary! We can't wait to see what they look like once they are in place. Trust me, we aren't going to let these stones cry out. We are praising Jesus every step of the way. #WorkingOnABuilding
